The Executive Centre (TEC) is continuing to grow its network in China, launching a new space in the Kerry Centre in Hangzhou. The forthcoming centre will be the first time TEC have expanded in Hangzhou and marks an important opportunity to support their network in this growing metropolis. TEC will proudly begin welcoming Members to this new centre in October 2018, with an opening celebration taking place soon after. Situated in the heart of the Hangzhou CBD, the Kerry Centre is strategically located next to the scenic West Lake. The mixed-use landmark is also home to the Midtown Shangri-La Hotel, an upscale shopping mall and luxurious residences. The centre will occupy the 8th floor, with stunning views of the bustling city and lake below. Hangzhou Kerry Centre stands between West Lake and Wulin Square, one of the busiest and most prosperous areas of the city.

As the capital of Zhejiang Province and the most populous city in Eastern China, Hangzhou is a rapidly growing metropolis and home to 9 million people, including expatriates and a thriving community of entrepreneurs. In 2015, the city was ranked 10th in China’s total economic volume, and repeatedly rated as the best commercial city in China by Forbes. Booming industries such as technology and tourism have contributed to increased demand for flexible workspaces and the city is often called China’s “Capital of E-Commerce.”

Consistent with The Executive Centre’s commitment to developing high quality spaces, the centre will deliver a “smart office” concept for all Members. The 1,447 sq. meter centre will consist of 167 workstations with high quality furnishings, generous filing spaces and will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, multiple meeting rooms and breakout areas. Thoughtful design with subtle modern touches will bring this spacious centre to life.

We are excited to have found this opportunity to grow our network in China and to support the expansion of our existing Members as well as welcoming new Members in the region. Given the economic uplift in the Greater China region, and the interest we have already received, we expect to continue expanding our presence and developing The Executive Centre community in both Hangzhou and other cities throughout China.
